How to use Shapes in Design

Click the Design tab to switch to the design settings view.

Select the circle shape option from the design menu to add it to your document canvas.

Choose an oval shape from the sidebar panel to insert it into your design layout.

Click anywhere inside the step card canvas area to place the selected shape.

Click the shape on the canvas to open its editing toolbar and adjust its properties.

Click the Shape dropdown in the formatting toolbar to change or configure the selected shape.

Click the Colors button in the toolbar to open the color palette for the selected shape.

Click the Font dropdown menu to change the typeface of the selected text or shape label.

Select the Circle Filled shape from the sidebar to add it to your design.

Select the Circle Filled shape from the shapes panel to place it onto the canvas.

Click on the filled circle icon from the shapes panel to place it onto your design canvas.

Click the blue circular shape on the canvas to open its formatting and styling toolbar.

Select the filled circle shape from the sidebar to add it to your design canvas.

Select the square shape from the sidebar to insert a square element into the document.

Click on the square icon in the shapes panel to choose the rectangle or square shape tool.

Click and drag inside the design canvas area to place and size the new square shape.

Select the square shape from the sidebar menu to add it to your design.

Select the filled square shape option from the shapes panel to place a solid square on the canvas.

Click on the blue rectangular shape on the canvas to open its editing toolbar and adjust its properties.

Click the curved arrow shape in the side panel to add it to your current design step.

Click the Curved Arrow Up shape in the shapes panel to insert it into your design.

Click the Curved Arrow Up shape icon to add it to your project canvas.

Click the curved arrow left shape in the sidebar palette to add it to your design canvas.

Click the curved arrow down shape from the shapes panel to insert it into the active step.

Click on the curved arrow shape to select it and open the formatting toolbar.

Drag the corner handle of the selected shape to adjust its size as needed.

Click the Add Step button to insert a new step into the tutorial document workflow.

Click the Bubble Up shape icon from the shapes panel to add it to your design.

Click the Bubble Up shape from the menu to use it in your document.

Select the speech bubble shape from the sidebar to add it to your design.

Select the Bubble Down shape option from the shapes panel to insert it into the workspace.

Click on the main canvas workspace to place or interact with the selected shape.

Click on a shape icon from the left sidebar to add it to your design.

Click the Bubble Left shape icon to insert a speech bubble pointing left into the canvas.

Select the speech bubble shape from the sidebar panel to insert it into your design canvas.

Click the speech bubble icon from the shapes panel to add it to your design.

Click the added speech bubble shape on the canvas to select and edit it.

Click the Add Step button below the current section to insert a new step in the documentation guide.

Click the Hand Up shape icon in the sidebar to add it to the canvas.

Click the Hand Up shape icon in the shapes panel.

Click inside the document workspace to place the selected shape element.

Click the newly added shape to modify its properties, resize it, or reposition it in the document.

Select the hand left shape from the shapes panel to insert it into your design document.

Click on the desired shape icon in the left-hand panel to select it for your document.

Click on the right-pointing hand icon in the shapes panel to add it to your design.

Select the pointing hand shape from the sidebar panel to add it to your design.

Select the right pointing hand shape from the shape library to insert it into the canvas.

Click on the desired shape icon from the shapes panel to insert it into your design canvas.
